Alice Horton was a huge part of my childhood. 95 is one hell of a good run, but the passing of Frances Reid fills me with sadness. Rest in peace, kind-hearted woman. Christmas will never be the same.

As much as Days blows, mostly, it still chokes me up to hear Carey's voice at the start, too.
The ONLY thing I like about DOOL these days is the fact that they've kept their opening segment and music. I hate when shows go all disco ro techno to try and "hippify" their opening segment. It's soap opera, people - people are NOT taking ecstasy and watching DOOL!
